Security and code signing

Sonarpad is an open source project. To improve the security and authenticity of Windows downloads, Sonarpad uses the SignPath Foundation for code signing when available.

Code signing helps verify that the file comes from the official project and has not been modified after signing. Official downloads are still distributed through GitHub Releases.

Sonarpad for Windows

Choose this version if you use Windows. You can use the portable version, the classic setup installer or the MSI package.

Portable EXE

Portable version. It does not require a full installation: download the EXE file and run it.

Sonarpad for Mac

The Mac version came after the Windows version and offers similar features, with some differences due to the platform and the progressive development of the project.

For Macs with Apple Silicon processors, such as M1, M2, M3 or later.

Which version should I choose?

If you use Windows and you are not sure, try the Setup installer first. If you prefer not to install the app, choose the Portable EXE version.

If you use a recent Mac with an Apple chip, choose Apple Silicon. If you use an Intel Mac, choose Mac Intel. If you have macOS Catalina, choose the Intel Catalina version.

If you use Android, download the APK package. If you use iPhone or iPad, use the App Store link for iOS.
